Privacy Policy
Version 1.0 — in force since 29 August 2026
This policy describes exactly what personal data Owner of Pixels processes, and nothing that we do not actually do. Controller: Artificialinnovators, Koning Willem-Alexanderplein 109, Dronten, Netherlands.
1. What we collect
- Account data — email address, hashed password (or your chosen sign-in method), account creation date, and your username. Your username is public.
- Canvas ownership data — which pixel coordinates you own, the colours you set on them, and when they were claimed. Pixel ownership and colours are public; the link to your username is public.
- Purchase data — the pixels in an order, quantity, amount, currency, order status and the payment reference from Stripe.
- Payment data — handled by Stripe. Stripe collects your name, email, billing address (needed to calculate VAT) and payment details. We never receive or store your card, iDEAL or PayPal credentials.
- Technical data — server and security logs containing IP address and request metadata, kept to operate and secure the service.
We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, profiling or third-party marketing tools. We do not sell personal data.
2. Why we process it, and on what basis
- To provide your account, the canvas and the creation tools — performance of a contract.
- To process purchases and grant pixel ownership — performance of a contract.
- To meet tax and accounting obligations for invoices — legal obligation.
- To keep the service secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and moderate content — legitimate interest.
- To answer support, complaints and rights requests — contract and legal obligation.
3. Processors we actually use
- Supabase — database, authentication and hosting of application data (accounts, profiles, pixels, purchases).
- Stripe — payment processing, VAT calculation and payment records.
- Lovable — hosting and delivery of the website.
Where these providers process data outside the European Economic Area, transfers are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
4. Cookies
We only use strictly necessary cookies and local browser storage for signing in, keeping you signed in, security, and remembering your current pixel selection. No tracking or advertising cookies are used. See the Cookie Policy for the details.
5. How long we keep data
- Account and profile data: for as long as your account exists.
- Pixel ownership records: for as long as the ownership right exists, because it is a record of what you bought.
- Purchase and invoice data: 7 years, as required by tax law.
- Security and server logs: normally up to 12 months.
- Support and complaints correspondence: up to 2 years after closure.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object, and the right to data portability. You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and you can lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in the Netherlands: Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Requests go to zakelijkwoud@gmail.com. We respond within one month.
7. Deletion requests
You can ask us to delete your account. We then remove your profile and account data and detach your username from public displays. We must retain purchase and invoice records for the statutory 7-year period, and pixels you bought remain recorded as sold, so those coordinates are not resold to someone else. Tell us in your request whether your pixels should be reset to the default colour.
